Traveling for the First Time Post-Dialysis

Disclaimer:  Yes, we traveled to visit family last week.  No, we didn't get to see or visit everyone.  There were SO many of you that we wanted to see and catch up with or just visit but time was short and we didn't get to see you all.  I am very sorry about that.  Hopefully we can connect next time!
We packed up the dialysis machine and a week's worth of supplies and headed north to visit Dobbie and Papa for the first half of the week.  The girls were so excited to play with the dogs, the cat, "swim" in their huge bath tub!

Dobbie helped the girls make small lap quilts.  They got to work the big quilting machine with just a little help from Dobbie.  They thought this was the cat's meow and they did a great job!

They always love helping give the dogs bath with the hose too.  They think it is hilarious that after their baths they sometimes jump back in the pond for a stinky swim.
Dobbie got the girls a little blow-up pool that they had a lot of fun swimming!  It doesn't matter the size of the pool, they will love it!

I did get to spend time with a sweet friend who precious little girl is going to be ONE in August.  Love this sweet pea!
We spent 3 days at the cabin before heading off to Gigi's.  The girls had a lot of fun running around!  I spent time reading Corrie Ten Boom's The Hiding Place.  WOW!  Daddy got his fill of World Cup soccer.
