Lucky? I Think Not!

An F1 tornado hit down in our community last week. We decided to take a drive and see how bad things were. We could not believe some of the things we saw. A small mobile home park was destroyed, a cement block building was ripped apart and trees totally twisted, splintered and completely uprooted from the ground. We are so thankful that no one was seriously hurt and that our family was protected.

While we were out our tire pressure monitor came on and we pulled into a gas station to find that a back tire was completely deflating. Here is a picture of the culprit.
Lucky?
Daddy and I figured out where everything was and got that tired changed...a nice stranger may have stopped to help out too.
Lucky?
We took the van to Wal-Mart to see if the tire could be patched to find out the hole was too close to the edge and we couldn't. The lady who checked our tire said that never in all her life had she seen anything like that before. It was a mailbox key so someone somewhere had to go buy a new key. I've heard those aren't cheap but I have a sneaky suspicion that they don't cost as much as two new back tires.
