Getting Ready for Christmas

Last weekend was very busy for Peanut and I. Friday night we spent the evening with Dobbie who encouraged me to finally start working on the bag that I want to make for Peanut for Christmas. It is almost all cut out. I hope to finish it tomorrow because you know, Christmas is in like 7 days! Wow!
Quizzing Quizzing
On Saturday Peanut and I headed to see our friends. Their daughter was in a big quizzing match for their church. We got to see her quiz twice and she quizzed out both times. We were so proud of her. Peanut cheered her on too!

Afterwards her quiz team headed to Chuck E. Cheese to celebrate. We got to go too. This was Peanut's first time and possibly last time to go. Ha! It was noon on a Saturday afternoon. I think every kid and their families were there right then. Peanut had a good time, though. She loved all the rides.

That evening we went to Friend's church to see her church's Christmas Cantata which she sung in. It was spectacular. Peanut loved listening to the singing and orchestra and watching the ballerinas that were in it and the actors. Her favorite thing was the baby that got to be baby Jesus.

On Sunday night Gigi invited us to come to his church to see their Christmas musical. Gigi has started going to a small country church in the area and really likes it. He knew quite a few of the people that attend there and has gotten really involved. I am thankful that he has found a great group of friends there. He had quite a good time showing off Peanut to eveyrone and of course, they already knew all about her. :)
Snow Day Snow Day
We finally got some snow this week! We had been getting rain instead of snow. Peanut was terribly excited about getting out to play in it so we headed to Gigi's. She went sledding and just played. She had alot of fun.

I have been busy making Christmas goodies this week for gifts. Peanut and Daddy had fun sampling the yummies. Peanut liked testing the hot chocolate that I made.

Peanut also got to talk to her cousin from Ohio who is just a few months older than her. Dobbie and I got such a kick out of their little conversation. Peanut was sure to tell her that she loved her!

I hope to be back before Christmas but if I am not, I hope you all have a wonderful and blessed Christmas.
